Quake 3 always says connection interrputed

Maybe your just playing on a slow server?

well every server i go into it says that i just don't get it
i have tryed everything i could think of even a fresh install of w2k

Hey i get the same thing, quake 3 has just been very very laggy on a modem for me, same with unreal tournament. I dont think its an os problem its more like the game + modems + slow servers.

Lots of traffic is being generated due to the Nimda virus. I know my DSL connection at work is getting hammered. And this was all discoverdon the 24, so it matches your timeframe

cody, if you're always getting 1.5kbps downloads like you told me then it may be a problem with your modem, a throughput that low would surely make quake 3 lag like hell and disconnect you.
