Windows Media Player 8 (For XP)

Here is a link to Microsoft saying there will be a .mp3 addition to Media Player, is there anywhere I can get this now:

Agreed it is a very good program - BUT - how did you (AlecStaar) get it to play DVD's - I had to install PowerDVD as it complained it needed a third party decoder - how did you do this or did you install PowerDVD as well ?

Does anyone know how to get either .mp3 ripping or DVD playback in Media Player 8 easily from a clean install ?

Yep, also during Beta 2 of XP I ported MP8 over to 2k. Then some other guys took it over because I got tired of it and now they have done the same for the final version of XP. So new we have MP8 for 2K. smile
