Pagefilesize for winXP2600 512Mb ram?

What is a prefferable size of the swapfile with winXP2600 and 512Mb ram?

When you go to edit it, it gives you the preferable size that m$ dictates. It will prolly be approx 750mb.


I have 1GB RAM and have set mine to 500mb, and stuck it on the sdame partition.

This is not right, and I am sure others wil advise differently.

when i had 768 i turned mine off in XP 2481, but that was a while back.
