Hi,
I have a problem with my Windows NT 4.0 server.
It started after i installed BDC on domain. First
the dhcp server gave on Active Leases window an BAD
ADDRESS on few IPs. Then when i tried to connect another
new PC on network and it failed. After hours of search
i found that the DHCP database seems to be locked or
something. It gives lease to PC that has been on network
before but it wont let me to change network names and
I cant connect new PCs. Everytime I try it give "The DHCP
server issued NACK to the client ( .....) for the address
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) request". I also searched ms knowledge base
but the best thing they offered was to install latest
service pack (witch i already have).
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The only 2 things I can think of at the moment would be:
1. Is it possible that there is a rogue DHCP server on the network?
2. Have you tried to dissolve that DHCP pool and create another? Or better yet, have you tried to install the DHCP service on another system?
Let me know.
