I was running MS Workstation NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)
and ran the upgrade to Win2k.
During installation phase - Installing devices
processes completes 75% on progress bar,
after modems installed successfully,
installation hangs.
Does NOT respond to Ctrl-Alt-Del.
On Reboot - installation resumes to same hangup.
Safe Mode does not work.
I am in the process of going into setup mode and
disabling devices (one at a time)
- in the hopes of finding the device causing the hangup.
I would like to avoid FDISK and new win2K installation (not upgrade).
Is there a better/faster way out of this win2K install hell?
