C++ in win2000 Professional

Dear all
My OS is Windows 2000 Professional(SP2),I use Borland C++ 5.01 and always see a mseeage "bcw.exe is error ,windows will close this program..." ,I have tried as many ways as I can to slove ,but this problem is still exists.Someone can tell me what is wrong ?Please help me! Thanks !

have you tried running this in compatibility mode?

if not....create a shortcut of bcw.exe and right click on it and goto properties. Run this in either Win 95 or Win NT mode. See if this works.
