I have not yet installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 but was wondering whether you can (easily) connect to the internet from mandrake.

Does this involve installing TCP/IP protocols?

And whats all this stuff about PPP scripts??

I have a WinModem which Lycoris detected so Im assuming Mandrake will as well?

If Lycoris found it and it worked, it *should* work under Mdk too. When you install Mdk, make sure you install KPPP. Once you have it configured, you should be able to get on the Internet without much trouble.
