Wondering if this is true and if it is what will the yearly charge be? Also will this be started once windows xp is released?

I think it's going to just be for businesses, or I'm gonna be pissed.
It's a nice thought, but I don't see it as a good thing. I don't think all software has to be subscription-based, especially your OS.
DosFreak had some good points in a different post around here, but I forget where under the XP section, and is pretty recent.
I don't know about you, but I don't like buying my OS with strings attached that I can't cut. MS has enough money, and while I like businesses to do well, I don't think this is for the consumer's benefit.

heheh. If the lastes IE crashes your OS do you get a refund then?
