Hey I got a Linksys USB 100 TX adapter and have it plugged in, it is used to connect to my @home service. However, whenever I try to use my CD drive to copy large files the CPU use jumps to 100 % and the system begins to bog down. If I disable the network connection from the task bar, CD drive use doesn't make the system jump to 100 %, I have plenty of RAM, 512 MB so I don't understand if this is due to a poor driver for the USB adapter [I checked for updates], poor VIA 4-In-1's I tried different release all had same result or is something I have to deal with? Under ME or 98 I don't get this problem.
