FTPCtrs error in event log

I been getting in my event log for application is "Unable to collect the FTP performance statistics" service is data DWORD 0 and Event 1000 error. I can't even remove it. I remove FTP service off the IIS and reinstalled and removing all the programs in the IIS. I reinstalled the FTP service and keep giving me the same problems. The error happens when I boot my computer up and shows it in the log. I also updated to service pack 2 and had the same problem.
