RC1 installation woes

Well I received RC1 this morning and came home eager to install it as an upgrade for my Windows 2000 machine (1GHz AMD, KT7-RAID) and will it install?

Will it buggery!

It gets to the reboot . . . please wait . . . then a long, long blank screen before a system halt blue screen!

Argh . . .

Any one have any suggestions?
