I run my local lan of 3 machines through a Win2k Server box using 2 NIC's.....it is not that hard to set up....and beats ICS by a mile.....the biggest thing is you need TWO network cards and a hub/switch to do it...but other than that it is easy....

BTW, Win2k Server can be the router...all you need like I said is a hob or switch....

You have to set up Routing and Remote Access under the Administrative Tools...and you CAN use portmapping while using DHCP.....remember you need TWO network cards, one is assigned the ip of 192.168.0.1 (what I use) and the other is the card that gets it IP from your internet provider. And you have to set up DHCP and a DHCP IP assignment range (known as a 'Scope') under Admin Tools as well, by using the internal card's IP as the router and DNS server...

What kind of connection do you have? I would be willing to help you do it if you could call me on the telephone, and make sure you got TWO networks cards preinstalled beforehand....

Actually it is alot easier than it sounds..I figured it out by myself...with hardly any NT5 Server experience...
