Hi

I'm using a INGMAN GAMING MOUSE. As long as I'm at the Win2000 LoginScreen everything is OK, but after the login the curser moves 3 pixel per step
(instead of 1/step)

The problem appears with USB as well as with the PS/2 port... (no Problems with Win98)

Hope you can help me

try adjusting the acceleration or mouse speed. or create another user and login with them and see if it happens to them.

Thats crazy!

That thing with the new login is working (thx), but, I already had this Problem in a previous installed Win2k Version. the new version was NO reinstall, I formatted the whole drive! So, why does the Problem appears with the first user installed on a new Win2k system?! Seems like I will never understand it frown

Thanx again

What tip'd me off was that it was fine at the logon screen, but not with your user, which means one of the mouse settings on the user is set to slow.

Yer mouse probably has a default with acceleration on and mouse speed higher. Just go slow it down. No biggie.

No - it was no Problem with the Speed/AccelerationSetting of the mouse.

I'ved changed every setting in the controllCenter as well as in the hardwaremanager.
It was some kind of driverProblem, I think...

C ya

Is the mouse cordless? Bad cable connection? (sounds stupid I know)

Or drivers. Does it do it in other Operating systems? Other computers?

It isn't a cordless.
No Probs with other O.Systems or on other Computers. It doesn't even appears with a User created after installing LogitechDrivers.
It's working now - and I will never find out why :-)
