I am having a problem running Baldurs Gate 2 in XP. I can install the game fine. When I play everything is real slow. When I move the mouse the pointer on the screen lags behind. The refrash rate is at about 60 and I cant seem to find a way to fix that. Also some of the sounds in the game are repeated. Thanks for the help.

I'm on RC1, voodoo3 3500, Soundblaster Live player 5.1 and it works fine under full install. Haven't tried minimum or anything else....

When I first installed XP RC1 I had slowdown with Icewind Dale and BG2. I installed the latest beta drivers for my Radeon and reinstalled Direct X 8.0a for Win2k (couldn't find 8.1 to reinstall) and that took care of most of my slowdown. Also, switching out my Accoustic Edge sound card (which was distorted and popping) for my old SB Live Value sped things up a bit as well. Hope some of this helps.
