I guess you can live w/ it for only so long... I've finally gotten utterly sick of the advertisements that bombard me on the web. That being said, can anyone recommend a good freeware ad blocker program to run on Win2k w/ IE? I'd love to finally get rid of those darn things that I never click on anyway...

I use a "HOSTS" file. There's info (and already working HOSTS files that you can use) here or here.
