Big Problem - Hardware Accel gone

Out of no-where 3D Acceleration has turned itself off. This happened last night, my screen colours look like 256 however it is set on 16mil

Can anyone help? i really dont want to be reinstalling windows 2000 again.
Specs:
AMD Athlon 800MHz
Geforce 2 MX
Usually use 6.34 dets - updraded to 12.xx's trying to fix the problem
SB Live!
VIA Mobo
256MB Ram
