Windows installer...Log error HELP>>>

Ok all I did was Reinstall windows me fresh. Nothing else changed. So when I stick a CD in and try to run the file (Setup or install) I get
"Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable" I have NEVER got this.

Anyone...??

Forget it I found out. Someting in the reg was pointing to a none dir.
