Installed Win2k pro last week and cannot get counter-strike to run without locking up after about 5 minutes of playing the game. The screen freezes and sometimes goes black, the sounds just keeps repeating and I have to shutoff the computer to restart. Counter strike ran perfectly in Windows 98 with the same setup and drivers. Current setup is:

Radeon 32ddr
Asus K7V motherboard
Athon 1000mghzt
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 x-gamer

I'm going into counter strike withdrawel and getting desperate. If any one has any suggestions on what could be causing the lock up and possible solutions it would be much appreciated.
