"Modified" details wrong in explorer properties

Could anyone help? I cannot get the properties on my files update correctly. when I higlight a file (ie text file)that I know i have modified and look at it's properties it does not reflect that I just modefied it it continues to state the old date what gives ???? thanks in advance.

No offence, but who cares about the dates anyway smile I had my date set wrong for 2 weeks without even noticing. So i got files created in 1998 on my computer smile

Yeah I know it's picky but when you lookup multiple files by these dates it kinda messes you up. thanks for the reply
