RH AS server restarts every 6-10 hours.

has anyone experienced server restarts after 6-10 hours of in-activity. We are running Red Hat Advanced server 2.1 (kernel 2.4.9-e25) on intel pentium 4 (x86) box with 2gb ram. Is there any property in the o/s or bios that does this, or something wrong with the o/s.
