I have 2 pc's hooked together on a router the only thing they share is the router but on the 1 with win2k when i boot i get and error duplicate name has been detected the name is the computer name my cable isp gave me how do I find and remove it

Both PC's cant have the same netbios name if they are on the same network.

To change your name go to your Network and Dial Up Connections, goto Advanced in the menu bar and click Network Identification and hit the Properties button. From there you can change your Name and workgroup/domain names.
