After I mirrored my boot disk on the server, it told me that "You have mirrored your boot volume. To be able to boot from the mirror disk, add the appropriate entry to your boot.ini file" What entry is it talking about? Where can I find info? Will my server bootup properly unless I modify this boot.ini?

What it's trying to tell you is that if your main boot drive dies, you will need to alter the boot.ini file (on c smile to boot from the mirror drive. The resource kit (at least for NT4) had a description of the process.

Try to boot from the CD, choose repair, automatic repair and uncheck all but Inspect Startup Environment. The repairprocess should update the boot.ini for you.
