Hello. Does NT 4.0 sp 6a shut down file and printer sharing by defalt or do you have to do it yourself.
If it must be done manually could someone tell me how to do it.
(Please keep it simple im not the best with computers.

Simple right click on folder or stuffs that you want to share and select SHARING ... option
You will be prompted for share name and permissions.

Regarding printer sharing, it must be done manually.
To remove administrative shares ... see http://www.jsiinc.com/suba/tip0000/rh0096.htm
If your computer is on a network, be aware that administrators are always able to create any shares trought the server manager until you set locally policy but it is for big paranoia people ....
