Hello all:
I'm running Win2K SP 2.
When I right click a shortcut there is now a "Compatibility" tab there, and I can choose either Win95, Win98 or WinNT from a drop down list, to try and get the program in question running.
Where has this feature come from?

Have you installed Application Compatibility Toolkit?
I think the tab comes with the toolkit but I'm not sure.

the tab was included in the latest application compatability update I think it was the April 2001 edition that included it. Either way that is what put it in there and where it came from since all fixes are included in SPs.

Thanks for clearing that up. The thing is, in the few instances I have used it, it really does seem to work. And it saves from having to set individual fixes a la AppCompat.exe!
