i tried a registry fix from the MS Knowledge Base, but that didnt work,... does anyone have a clue, what i can do to make the connections permanent?

Which registry fix did you use? Here's the one I use, and it works great: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q138/3/65.asp

Try disabling the Computer Browser service on your Win2K clients.
