Why did you have to run it under win2k compatibilty mode and not in WINXP normal mode?

Am I the only that didn't have the refresh-rate problem?? I run 85Hz @ 1024x768 with no need for additional proggys.

are you talking about the refresh rate in games or the refresh rate on the desktop. If you are talking about the desktop anyone can run 85 hz (assuming the hardware supports it) the refresh rate problem is in games where it drops back to 60 hz.

Oh, without using Powerstrip, in "games" it drops back to no less then 75Hz (My monitor has a onscreen do-hicky that can tell ya the exact refresh rate at any givin moment). But in powerstrip, you can have it set to run whatever, at whatever refresh-rate you want!! But never had it go below 75 though without using it...

Uh...Does anyone have a link to d/l that tweak thingy?? Kinda don't like using powerstrip....eats to many valuable system resources...

Cool.....Now one last thing....Does anyone else notice blurry text in 2462? With all the drivers ive tested, the desktop seems to have real blurry text! (well not so bad, but bad enough to notice)

Nope, tried the fonts thing.....It's actauly everything that's a tad' blurry, just more noticable in text. Mabye it's just a driver/monitor/refresh rate problem in 2462? Becuase this didn't happen in 2416 for me, using any specific drivers. I think i'll check for an updated driver for the monitor.........

to enable compatability mode, make a shortcut to the .exe you want to use (in this case nvrefresh.exe) and then go to properties it is listed in there under compatability modes. Or select the run in compatability modes icon on your desktop.
