Allright, I've installed linux mandrake 9.2 on my computer. Everything seems fine,though, when I try to boot it up I have a kernal panic error. I tried getting out all the dust in out of the internal fan and restting the memory, but that doesn't work. Instead of making a partision thing, I just cleared my hard drive. And it still doesn't work. Any help will be very appreciated.

Allright, sorry for the double post, but I have made an important decision. I'm going ot download 9.0 instead of 9.2. Now all I need to know is where to download it. Could someone provideme with a link to where I could find it? Thanks.

Sure, but be aware that the probelm may not be with hardware, but an installation failure.
If you would like to post some more information about your system and the install, maybe we can save you some time.
By the way, what did you do to clear the hard drive? Kernel failures often are due to lilo or grub not being able to find vmlinuz or a configuration error.
Here is a link for the iso images;
