I have Windows ME, now when I go to Play Unreal, or UT, I get a general Protection fault error, now I went to the Unreal website, they said to install Direct X off the Unreal CD to combat this, however ME comes w/ DirectX 7.0a (or whtever it is) Unreal comes w/ 6.0, will not install, when I was running 98 w/ DirectX7, it worked fine. Is there any way to get 7.0a off and go w/ the standard 7, or is 7.0a bound to ME?

Actually ME comes with DX7.1 not 7.0a, I remember seeing the installation file for 7.1 floating around teh web. Try checking some of the ME websites for it, also look on your ME CD.
