I jut recently installed Office 2K Pro. When I set up Outlook 2K it does not recognise me as being connected to the net and gives me the error "Unable to open your default mail profile, would you like to open the default folders instead", if I say yes it acts as though it is Windows Explorer, if I say no it closes. Any ideas on what is occuring here.

Go to the control panel, go to the mail icon. Setup your profiles there.
I had the same thing happen. Outlook wasn't smart enough to recognise that there wasn't a mail profile setup so it should set one up for me...

Once I redid the account there it worked fine.
