Developments in the wide world of SCALE 13x:

 

SCHEDULE SET: The schedule for the four-day event has now been posted

for SCALE 13x. Check out over 120 sessions and activities over the

UpSCALE TALKS: You still have time to submit an UpSCALE Talk for SCALE

13x. Participants are given five minutes to speak on a subject

accompanied by 20 automatically-advanced slides, making this a fast

paced, fun event for participants and audience. To submit a talk,

LINUX CLASS: The Southern California Linux Expo is once again

providing those who want to start using Linux an opportunity to learn

how. SCALE will provide a one-day Installfest + basic system

administration class on Saturday, Feb. 21. Prerequisites: a desktop or

laptop system with at least 2 Gigabytes of RAM and 10 Gigabytes of

disc space available to Linux. While a dedicated installation is

preferred, dual-boot installations may also be accommodated.

Pre-registration for this event is required and space is limited.

The Southern California Linux Expo SCALE 13x will be held from Feb.

19-22, 2015, at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel. Registration is
