Remember how you could easily configure what programs started up when windows booted - eg you could enable/disable stuff like ICQ-mirabilis internet detect agent. Is there an equivalent under win2kpro? Ive been through computer management and services but cant find any for the icq detect agent specifically, and about 4 other things i dont want started automatically when i boot.

ahhh the good old days of msconfig, one of the only things windows ran reliably ...lol

Msconfig sucked.

Go to www.google.com and download Startup Control Panel.

Hey DosFreak, and thanks, damn useful webpage. msconfig wasn't the best, but if your working on someone's win9x OS then it does its job, and everyone has it smile
