hi everyone, I am currently using slax (slackware live) and I want to establish and internet connection. I am using the kde desktop enviroment, but the only thing that is stopping me I believe is that I have an external adsl speedstream modem wich is usb. Will I be able to use the internet or is usb not supported

Here in portugal support for USB ADSL modems sucks... I don't know if your modem is linux compatible.

my modem is ethernet and usb compatible and came with both cords, only I can't install ethernet because I have no ethernet chip. Does this make it possible to run my modem in linux?
