"Discover Windows 2000" keeps coming up on login. There is no check box available to disable this. How do I make this go away?

Well, I sure don't know what the solution is, but what do you think caused it? I'd like to know, as I've got a couple of 'friends' whose machines I'd like to configure that way. laugh

you could always delete Discover, but then you'd probably get an error when it tries to run discover

Run regedit

Go and look for Discover and remove @ the following locations:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
