Hey can you help me?

I will install Win2k PRO in my home machine cause im sick of Win9x Kernel crashing.

So heres is my machine:

Pentium III 450@558 mhz
Asus P3V4X (Via chipset)
256mb RAM (NEC 133 mhz)
HD Quantun lct (26GB)
Creative Labs Annihilator Pro (geforce ddr)
SB Live! Value
Cambridge Soundworks FPS2000
Microsoft InteliMouse Optical
Microsoft Natural Keyboard
LG StudioWorks 17"
Iomega ZiP Drive (100mb Paralllel)
Creative Infra 52x
US Robotics 56kpbs (PnP mode)
Microsoft Force Feedback
Epson Stylus 600

Now my questions:
1. Any problems and/or incompatibility problems with my PC components?

2. I know that VIA chipset need a patch, wich comes with SP2 if i download the BETA right?

3. Wich video driver is best? 7.xx or 6.xx or Creative 6.34 fasttrax for Win2k?

4. I have a 26gb hd, if i install Win2k in partition "D", levaing "C" for winme, win2k will create and use "Program Files" in partition "D" without touching "C"?


And most important of all

5. Can you tell me what services I can disable to make it faster?
I only use this machine for GAMES (lots)n MUSIC (mp3) and Internet (using Dial-Up Networking).

This link http://arstechnica.com/tweak/nt/ntservices-1.html has some good info about what services you can disable. It was written for NT4 but it still hold true for W2k.

well m8 u don't HAVE to get a VIA update, i got the same board as u, i never got any updates for my via chipset, till a few days back , the only way to find out is to install win 2k and see what works
