you might need to copy the explorer.exe into the winnt/servicepackfiles directory as well to stop it getting replaced by the SFC (if you're running sp1 of course)

I cannot get this thing to work. I try to overwrite the file, and it says that I have, but when I check it is always the old explorer.exe. I am running SP1. How the heck to I get this thing to work? Thanks!

There are three places where you need to replace explorer.exe:

\WINNT\ServicePackFiles\i386\

\WINNT\system32\dllcache\

\WINNT\

Replace them in that order, and you should be good...
