anybody had successfully setup Intel Pro/Wireless 2100?

MiniPCI Card on Linux?i had encountered so many problems.... frown

I had saw a article about use wlan minipci card based on atheros's chip.but dont find anybody run Intel 2100 Wifi successfully on linux yet. ;(

Can give me some suggestion ? thanks in advance!

Yup! Got it working, using it on my HP/Compaq nc6000

go to http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net
and follow the instructions.
You'll need the driver and firmware.
Of course you'll need the wireless tools for linux.
It's included in almost every distro.

Ahh...just what I wa looking for on yea ol' laptop! Does not work on kernel 2.4 series!

I'll have to try this out. If it works, I owe FredL2 one!
