I've recently had an opportunity to try out Whistler on my machine. I'm using it in a dual boot config, with win2k. I also recently got a cable connection (finally) and after setting up my connection, I found that Whistler is almost 2x faster (in terms of download speed) than win2k. Has anyone else found this to be true? I was using Win2k in a home network before, is there some setting related to that that could be slowing my connection? When I set up Whistler, I just typed in my IP and away I went. I dont know why win2k would be so much slower than whistler.
Thanks, everyone. Great board!

You may try to adjust the receive window in W2K registry. By default, W2K is not optimised for broadband.
Great site for tweaking cable and adsl at http://www.dslreports.com and http://navasgrp.home.att.net/tech/cable_dsl.htm
There you will find a lot of advices and tools to optimize your connection.
It worked for me.
