when ever i connect to the internet in Win2k i get an error in the DUN status window, under the "Received" section. I get it immediately after i have dialed in, and my pass/username is verified.

I have to wait about a minute before i can receive any data after this. But then everything is ok.

It must be something to do with DUN settings. Any ideas what?

Well, in the DUN status box there is a section called Errors, and then columns for Received and sent. Well in the received section it says "Errors: 1". So i cant really be any more specific about it.

I always get 1 error on Dial-in. Using any ISP. Im thinking it must be something to do with the authentification settings. After the modem has dialed it does take a long time to verify my password.

I dont know what ISPs youre using, but with mine it takes about .5 sec with a 56K.
I used others before that took 5 days (nah, just 20sec or so).
And I ->guess<-, the errors are transmission errors when you send and receive data. Im not sure on that.

I don't ahve 2k infront of me atm, but under networking options for your DUN connection, make sure you have the top and bottom options unchecked. See if that helps
