Hi !

Win2k takes a lot of MB (700 MB here). Are there files or directory, which can be deleted ?!? Or there other thing to make it smaller ???

Thanx SNooP

I would recommend deleting any files, but if you are really hurting for diskspace, maybe try compressing the Winnt folder (properties...advanced...compress). You will need to be using NTFS to do this however, and it will most likely slow your system down. Another alternative is the new 75GB drive from IBM smile

DON'T COMPRESS the WINNT Folder. If you do, you will be sorry. You will compress the de-compress dll files, and thus when you re-boot, you won't be able to get Windows 2000 back up again, as you won't be able to de-compress the system files it needs.

Anyhow, go to www.winsupersite.com and look for the topics about removing W2K components or doing a un-attended install script to help take all the junk out.

Good luck..!!!
