Big problem .. please help thx

Hi, I just bought a new HD anyway .. I can't seem to get Networking/ICS working at all.
Both computer can't seem to see each other and I believe the settings are correct.
anyway here are the settings
both using Windows 2000 Professional

1st computer (Host)
2 Network cards, one connected to the cable other connected to the hub.

Lan

Client for MS network
File and printer sharing
Netbeui
NWLINK Netbois
NWLINK IPX/SPX
Network monitor driver
TCP/IP
: ip adress 192.168.01
: Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
DLC

are installed

cable modem

Client for MS network
File and printer sharing
NWLINK Netbois
NWLINK IPX/SPX
Network monitor driver
TCP/IP
DLC
Internetsharing enabled

Client computer

Client for MS network
File and printer sharing
Netbeui
NWLINK Netbois
NWLINK IPX/SPX
Network monitor driver
TCP/IP
: ip adress 192.168.01
: Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
DLC

They are all in the same workgroup and I already made user accounts in both computer .. but still I can't seem to find the problem... please help if u can

what happens if you nix

I dont have alot of exp with networking yet, but all you need for what u want is tcp/ip...i think.

First, can you ping the computers from each other?

Also, have you set up share rights on the hard drives for each of the computers?
