sharing files

Hi, Running win2kpro.
I would like to share my files over network, but sharing option does not show up when right clicking on any file or drive, however printers and modem can be shared, what am i missing to enable file sharing, any help appreciated.

To share files under 2K you have to have (believe it or not) "File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Networks" installed.

Just go into your network settings, click 'add' then 'service' and you'll see it in the list. Make sure your 2K CD/Rip is handy.

Also, don't forget to create user accounts so your network clients can login to actually download the files.

You must also remember to enable guest account.

File & Printer sharing is installed, but option to share folders and files not available. However printer & internet connections are shareable.
