i need a walkthru on setting up TCP/IP on a small LAN. i run a dual boot ME/NT4.0 machine on a small (5 port(3 mach.) hub with cable connected to the uplink. i can see other machines in the 'hood (NetBeui) but I can't figure out how to properly setup the TCP/IP stack (in NT only ME fine!). i think its something to do with static addressing, yes? note i've installed the latest service pack and when i try to install RIP services it wants the newer files an i don't know where they are.... plse help
c: fat16(boot (why Microsoft why)
