slow network connection, can u help?

hi all:

i do have 2 3com 905b-tx on the win2000pro and win98se.

the network does work and i can share the internet connection.

But the file transfer between them are very slow. it takes 4 mins to transfer 15M file.

Do u have any suggestion?

try removing netbeui and enabling netbios over tcp/ip...

There are some issues with certain cards.. If you can try another card (3com 3c5x9 is known to be trouble free)...

Post some ping results of the computer you are ftp'ing from/to
