wake up on LAN?

hi i do have 2 3com 905 NIC w/ wake up on LAN function.
but i dunno what kinda software i need to use that function, can someone tech me about it and where can i download that kinda software.

From what I read about it [researching for your post], you do need software to wake a computer up. IBM makes some, so does 3Com, but I couldn't find out if it was downloadable, or any other freeware/shareware places to get that type of software. It has to be out there, though.

IBm, Intel and 3Com has a lot of information on the general ideas, but weren't very helpful as to software.
