Can we access mails from Yahoo Account through Outlook exp

Freinds Can we download yahoo acount mails
through outlook express or ms outlook.
Pl let me know if there is any chance.

Well, why didn't you ask that. :p

The addresses are available from within your Yahoo! account:

pop.mail.yahoo.com
smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Other places may not let you access them throuhg POP3, but if they do, it is usually in the 'options', under 'forwarding' or 'pop access' or similar.

hai !
down i tried with pop and smtp address
you have mentioned but it is not authorizing
me and rejecting my user account saying
that invalid user/passowrd.
pl let me clarify whether u need separate
pop account for yahoo. now i am trying
with my free yahoo account.

You have to go into options in your Yahoo account and set the option for "pop and web access". This will allow you to access the Yahoo pop3 and smtp, whilst still allowing you to access over the web.

hai friends!

Thanks it worked out.But small problem
it is not working on the machine which
has internet access through proxy.
The error message giving is the "host
cannot be found"
Pl let me know if there is anything to be
done on proxy side also.Proxy we r using
is the winproxy 2.1
