    Half-Life 2 vs. Halo 2

WORLD OF WARCRAFT! JK I finsished Halflife 2 and I can honestly say the single player is the best ever, minus another enigmatic ending. Halo2, I had to restart twice cause my xbox crapped out on me, but it too is epic in scale, though it's not quite as engaging as Half-life 2 BOth games are better than any other FPS out there so you would enjoy either one. I'd have to give the edge to hal-life mainly because the attention to detail and the source engine and all it's glory However, I am truly amazed at how good Halo 2 PLays on a 57" Widescreen HDTV. Can't go wrong either way.
  2. Felix I would go with the Pioneer drive They have good media compatiblity and they do 4x DL burning which is a big deal. Plus they work in PC or MAC and they have frequent firmware updates for compatibility.

Apple, I almost "HATE" to say it? Has the NICEST Operating System interface out there in MacOS X 10.3 "Panther"... & it's built on UNIX/FreeBSD core stability (some of the best there is for consumer-grade OS stuff), + Mach micro-kernel iirc developed again, iirc, @ Carnegie-Mellon... = = Good Stuff! (I am not alone in that either: What do you see more of in the way of KDE desktop skins for Linux? Apple OsX skins for it... it is PRETTY, with the 'aqua' look!) * Top that off with a TRUE object-oriented shell taken from a previous project Mr. Steve Jobs was involved in with in NeXT, & you get what you get: Again, excellent stuff! (Wish I could afford one of those...) APK P.S.=> How's that stuff treating you so far Jon? apk O its great, I really love my 2 MAC's. Use my PC for gaming only now.

Windows 2000 Server Forwarding Stops Periodically

PM me for one if you don't have an option. I agree with Clutch. I had a simliar problem, and it turned out the the ISP's DNS server was flakey, and I changed the order of DNS servers to point to another one first. Eventually I removed the DNS server address that was giving me issues, and just used the other 2. This was in Windows 2003, although it wasn't really a Windows issue, but rather to do with the ISP

Desperately need to delete a file

Alec we used to have these Windows 2000 workstations that we had to install an older MS version of Maps. This old version would overwrite a .dll file and would error every boot. I couldn't delete it even in safe mode and finally denied access to system. Then in safe mode could delete it Silly MS

Moore: pirate my film, no problem (farenheit 9/11)

Here's the issue I take with Micheal Moore's film Asking him to do a "documentary" on Bush is like asking the Aryan nation to do a special on Black History month. We have lost the ability to think objectively. Kerry and Edwards saw he same intiligence and voted for war. So if Kerry would have been president he would have been against it? So we get a choice this November 2 oil cronies or a Billionare, and a Millionare Trial lawyer. Somehow I don't think the average person will be served well by either.

Moore: pirate my film, no problem (farenheit 9/11)

WHile this film may make light of some inmportant questions, it is mostly filled with unsported innuendo and outright partisanship Why pay $8.50, not including the hotdog and coke I usally buy, when I can watch Kerry ads for free all day long on CNN With that said, It amazes me how so many, what I refer to as party whores, scream how thier side is the best. I don't agree with the way Bush has handled Iraq, and I may not vote for him, but when the CIA, FBI, RUSSIA, UK, ISREAL all tell him Saddam had WMD and may use or sell them, WTF was he supposed to do? Hold him to task for how he has handled Iraq, not going to war itself. After 9/11 you had the 4 top intilligence agencies in the world telling him Saddam was a threat and may be trying to get nukes. Most other presidents would have done the same.

I, ROBOT: Going to go see it?

I plan to go see it, I loved the series of books. However, it's a small chance it will be even close to what Asimov was trying to communicate.
