    Dell Inspiron w/ Win 2K

Everything with Windows 2000 has been workign well on my Dell Notebook with the exception of two things. Can anyone offer some advice? 1) No DVD. The DVD didn't detect upon installation. I hence tried installign the 95 drivers and it installed fine, however playback is litterally shakey and when I hit the stop button, 2000 crashes. 2) The Rage Mobility Pro driver does not seem to support OpenGL and most importantly Quake 3. Rage says the card is fully OpenGL compatible, and I have seen notes about people playing Q3 on their notebook elsewhere on the web. Does anyone have a tweak or hack to allow this? Thanks for any help or suggestion! Wolvereen

    Quake 3 on a Voodoo3

I am trying to install the Quake 3 compatible Voodoo3 work-around and hit a snag. The included readme.txt instructs to extract the files 3dfxv3ps.dll and 3dfxv3ps.hlp from the driver set downloaded from http://www.3dfx.com/view.asp?IOID=203. However, as of 7-22-99 (today which is when I happened to go to the site 8-() the driver set is updated and does not seem to include these two files. I tried doing an update and searchign my system for previous versions of the file, but found nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the assist in advance if so....
