I see your point, it was just an opinion expressed, nothing more! I wasn't criticising the site, I don't know enough about how a server works to do that. As you say, some points not relevant to me might well be relevant to others. The site has helped me lately, although the help I needed I asked for.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't being critical of the site, on the contrary, it's great, but I have been through a lot of the topics, and there are an awful lot of very old posts. I don't know how big the server is, but surely, any saving is good. Only an opinion, nothing more! Regards And thanks to those who have helped me here so far.

    Outlook Express problem

Can someone please tell me why Outlook Express has started putting incoming emails into 'sub folders' all of a sudden. I get a mail from a sender, I open it, close it and go onto the next one. The following message from that sender then goes into a 'sub folder' under their original email. It never used to do this, and if their mail is a long way down the list, it is a pain in the butt to go find it. It used to be that all new mails would enter the list at the top, singly! I like it and want it that way. As far as I know, I have changed nothing. I have looked thru the help section, and can find no reference to it, and this is the first time I ever recall it happening.

Out of the 908 posts in Buy Sell and Trade, only 5 of them are for this year. Doesn't it use up space on the server keeping all these old posts in place? Some of them go back as far as 2000. As this is a free site, and still must cost money to operate, wouldn't it be more prudent to erase the older ones. I am sorry if I appear to be teaching you to 'suck eggs' but I am always looking for ways to save money, and if I see areas that can be tightened up, then I usually try and help to do something about it. I would imagine that there a lot of other posts that are as old, but as a lot of these are informative, they have a valuable place on the site. Only my opinion of course!!

    Logitech QuickCam

I know this might be a stupid question, but are you sure the camera still works. I had a similar problem a little while ago, and discovered that somehow, during the time of the camera not being installed and in use, something went wrong with it. I plugged in and installed my back up logitech camera, and everything was fine.

    Front Panel USB ports

HELP!! I wonder if anyone can help me with connecting the front panel USB ports to my Intel D915PBL Motherboard. I have a cable coming from the front USB panel with 8 plugs on it marked as: GND1, GND2, DATA-1, DATA-2, DATA+1, DATA+2, VCC1, VCC2. I assume that 4 plugs go to front panel connector 1 on the motherboard and the other 4 got to connector 2 on the motherboard. * * * * * * * * * ^ The above diagram is the pin layout on the motherboard. The little arrow beneath the bottom left pin is, I assume, pin 1. I have searched the internet for a manual to help, but without success. I would appreciate any help that can be offered. I can be emailed directly at: bossman63@cytyanet.com.cy
