Zordana

I have just purchased a Diamond 1200plus scanner and for two days and many instructions i still cannot get it to work.It says the 'Scanner is not connected please check the cable', then 'The scanner is not ready', why am i having such trouble please? I junked my Genius Vivid for the same reason but it appears it's not the scanner after all.I now have two that don't work:*( Zordana9@aol.com
