I know Windows has a diskdefragmenter and a Scandisk. Does mandrake linux have a program like this if not can i get one.

I installed mandrake linux9.2 on to my system with some application. i relized i wanted some more applications on my system by using the cd is this possible.

It doesnt have a swap button it just has a selection of /,/home,/mnt/windows, /tmp, /usr, /var do you think it create one on its own. thanks

what is the what is the swap file name.

Is there any way I can get my space back? Or continue with the process? Can you be more specific? The screen does not match mine. I have 9.2.

i have WindowsME on my disk so on the installation of mandrake linux 9.2. I asked it to use window space to formated the drive so windows had 56gigbytes linux had 24gigbytes and during the process it froze and the crashed and now windows is left with 56gigbytes is there away to give linux that space that i lossed during installation.
